Introduction
name - Kristijan Hranisavljevic
occupation - illustrator, animator, storyboard artist
location - Serbia
Timeline
1975 - born March 6th in Belgrade, Serbia
1982 - beginning of schooling
1984 - beginning of formal musical education; years spent in music school
are the happiest years of my childhood - although I'm not a musician, going to music school
is one of the best decisions I ever made
1993 - after a couple of unsuccessful attempts to form a band, I've joined a band of experienced
musicians and throughout the following year played jazz-rock and blues in night clubs; the band is where
I've learned the importance of teamwork
1994 - end of high school days, beginning of career path; although I've been drawing all my life, I've never
dreamed of being a professional in that field - however, I started as a comic-strip artist and illustrator;
after this year, music became just a hobby
1995 - joined the crew of "Bikic Studio" - by that time, it was the only animation studio in the country
1997 - changed the company, moved to Belgrade department of "Django Studios" (Holland)
1998 - back to freelance life - illustration, animation, graphic design...
2000 - started to work in Belgrade department of "Balkanmedia" company (Germany) in the field of web design,
web animation, illustration and graphic design
2001 - it's the end of the year, and I'm a freelancer again; I'm into storyboards more than ever,
and it drags me away from my frame-to-frame thinking;
my interest in directing is very strong
present days - still a freelancer, doing mostly animation, storyboards and illustrations, and a part of my
professional involvment considers multimedia and graphic design
